Dr. Sarah Petrich’s the co-founder of Re-Balance Pilates where she enjoys instructing Pilates instructors, physical therapists and other movement professionals around the nation how to combine Pilates and Postural Restoration® (PRI) concepts to re-balance & re-train the human body. Prior to Re-Balance Pilates, she was privileged to co-create & instruct their internationally taught PRI integration for Pilates Course between 2016-2020. For almost 10 years, Sarah has also been a national physical therapy continuing education educator with Summit Education.
Dr. Sarah Petrich’s interest in movement and the human body began at a young age with her love of dance. This interest propelled her to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in 2003 and her Masters and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005 & 2006 from St. Catherine’s University in Minnesota.
Dr. Petrich continued her education with the Postural Restoration Institute gaining her certification (PRC) in 2011. She is also a Polestar Rehabilitation trained Pilates Practitioner certified through the National Certification Pilates Program (NCPT) since 2014.

Dr. Petrich has worked for over 10 years in a primarily cash-based practice both as a physical therapist and Pilates instructor in the Minneapolis area. She also has experience working in sports medicine clinics, chronic pain facilities, aquatic therapy, and home care. She helped found the dance medicine program at Tria Orthopedics and was a founding member of the Minnesota Dance Medicine Foundation where she managed their free dance clinic for under-insured dancers for over 5 years.
